Keith and Caleb met long enough ago that neither is exactly sure when, but both agree that their friendship began before they were ten years old. A rare example of a successful second-generation friendship (Caleb and Keith's respective mothers are also friends), Keith and Caleb's adventures together include 4-H projects, domestic and international travel together, fireworks and other things that go boom, and serving together in their mutual church in the kids and Young Adults ministries. Both have been along for the ride on some awesome adventures, and each has also been there for the other through some really difficult times. Keith is the rare man who combines incredible problem-solving ability and a can-do attitude with a compassionate and kind spirit. Reliable and unfailingly servant-hearted, growing through life together with Keith has been a tremendous blessing to Caleb.

Erik is Caleb's first cousin, but to leave it there would sell him far too short. Born almost a month to the day after Caleb, the two of them were close right from the start. The two share so many childhood memories, from working on the family farm to going to the same schools from kindergarten through high school. Teachers quickly learned that putting them together was a recipe for distraction, but often struggled not to smile or laugh as Erik landed zinger after zinger and delighted with his eerily accurate impressions. Caleb made sure, with some peer on peer tutoring sessions, that Erik passed high school physics and math, and the two had a blast when they took to the stage together and did theater. To this day, Erik and Caleb rarely have a phone conversation shorter than an hour, and will rapidly tangent into history topics that most would find a little niche, or maybe just plain boring, but which they find fascinating. A true brother from the beginning, Caleb is delighted to have Erik with him for this momentous day.

Micah and Caleb met during summer orientation in the months before they started classes at Taylor University, their alma mater, when they were assigned as roommates. From the very beginning, Caleb was drawn to Micah's love for adventure and boldness in embracing life. The two had amazing fun during their time together at Taylor, and have remained close ever since. Micah can always be counted on to make the most interesting possible choice, and Caleb greatly admires him for that-even as some of his more incredible adventures sound absolutely crazy from the outside! Micah brings a zeal for life and a unique perspective to everything he does, but also a depth and a thoughtfulness that has resulted in countless hours of profound and life-giving conversation. Caleb never imagined that his randomly assigned roommate would become a brother for life, but is more grateful for that than he can say.

Mitchell and Caleb met when they were very young, when Mitchell's family started attending the same church as Caleb's. The two quickly connected and became inseparable. Both spent much of their childhood at the other's house, playing with Legos, running around in the woods, or obsessing over Lord of the Rings. In early high school, Mitchell and Caleb spent a few years in the same school, where they enjoyed doing theater as well as being hugely distracting in any class they had together. Mitchell moved with his family before graduating highschool. Between the communication skills of highschool boys (low), and the technology of the time (also low), Caleb and Mitchell lost touch for several years. When both ended up living on the East Coast for a time after university, Mitchell reached out to Caleb, and the two rekindled their friendship. The years have brought maturity and wisdom, but Mitchell still brings an infectious joy that is a delight to be around.

Lazzi and Caleb met through the Young Adults and Young Professionals group at their church. Caleb was friends with Lazzi's now-wife, Tayo, when Lazzi started dating Tayo and coming to the same church. Caleb still distinctly remembers one of the first times he encountered Lazzi, when he showed up to a Young Adults snow sledding day in nothing but sweatpants, a long-sleeved tee, and some nice camera equipment. It was a memorable entrance! Caleb soon learned that while Lazzi has a lot of fun in life, he is also a deep and profound thinker. The two really bonded over their mutual interest in world news and political happenings, and have spent many hours discussing their thoughts on what is occurring around them. Caleb most admires Lazzi's absolute calm under pressure; he is the embodiment of a chill and serene approach to life. Sometimes even when Caleb feels a little panic would be a perfectly appropriate response to a situation! Caleb is so grateful to have Lazzi stand with him on his wedding day.

Leah has quite literally been part of Sonia’s life… well, since day one! They’ve shared everything, secrets, clothes (sometimes willingly 😉), and an embarrassing number of inside jokes. From childhood adventures to late-night heart-to-hearts, Leah has been Sonia’s confidant, cheerleader, and occasional reality check. They’ve been through it all together. Sonia couldn’t imagine this day without her big sister by her side, making sure she doesn’t trip down the aisle. 💕

The Partner in Fun!!💃 💃 Sonia and Gisele go way back to high school, where their friendship was basically built on a shared love for the same movies, music, and an endless supply of laughter. Whether they were singing at the top of their lungs, dancing like no one was watching, or just having the best time doing absolutely nothing, they always knew how to make life more fun. Through every stage of life, Gisele has been there with unwavering support and the perfect playlist. Sonia is beyond grateful to have her by her side—both on the dance floor and on this special day! 🎶💕

Sonia and Marilyn go way back, over 15 years of friendship and counting! They met in high school and have been friends ever since, from teenage adventures to grown-up milestones. No matter where life has taken them, they’ve always found a way to keep their friendship strong and have enjoyed so many adventures along the way.
