I recommend flying into either Bangor International Airport or Portland Jetport and renting a car. Greenville is about a 1.5-hour drive from Bangor and a 3-hour drive from Portland. For the cheapest flights, consider flying into Boston, but be prepared for a five-hour drive.
Where should I stay in Greenville?
I recommend booking accommodations as soon as possible, as availability is limited. Greenville has a few motels, along with numerous Airbnb and VRBO options in the area.
What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?
The ceremony starts at 4:00 PM. Please arrive no later than 3:40 PM to allow time for parking and transit to the outdoor ceremony. We would love for all guests to be seated by 3:45 PM!
We are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thanks for understanding!
What is the wedding attire?
We kindly request that all guests wear semiformal or cocktail attire. For men, dress pants and a button-down shirt are ideal, while women can opt for a sundress, skirt, or nice pants with a blouse. Please avoid jeans and t-shirts.
What is the weather like in Greenville?
Greenville experiences mild to warm weather in late June, with daytime highs around 72°F and nighttime lows around 55°F. It's a good idea to pack layers for the cooler evenings and a swimsuit if you’re up for a swim in the chilly waters of Moosehead Lake. Since the weather can be unpredictable, be sure to check the forecast as the wedding day approaches!
Can I bring my children to the wedding?
Of course, kids are welcome at the wedding! If you'd prefer to have a night off and arrange for a babysitter, that's perfectly fine too—whatever works best for you.
