The Day We Met - Mutual friends, Clayton & Sarah Sly, invited the two over to see their newborn puppies & Cassie was infatuated (with the 7 puppies)...

In the meantime - While Cassie was busy taking care of her new puppy, Clayton & Sarah were plotting how to get the two together as often as possible.

The Beginning - Caleb & Cassie's first date was May 3rd and they became "official" just a week and half later. Thus began a summer of fun including their first photo pictured here.

Benicia - Caleb & Cassie quickly began the tradition of going to downtown Benicia for their weekly date nights, often to their favorite pizza spot: Pacifica Pizza.

Ups & Downs - Caleb helped Cassie move into a new apartment and Caleb's servant heart & gentle spirit really caught her eye on this day. Cassie's pup, Marlee, saw it too & gave her stamp of approval.

Meet the Friends - The summer included many trips to meet each others friends, including a wedding in Seattle and a trip to Monterey.

Meet the Families - Caleb & Cassie roadtripped up to Boise, Idaho to spend a week with both of their families.

Doodle time - Caleb & Cassie both owned double doodles before they started dating, so they were obviously meant to be. Time together included lots of walks & playtime with "the doods."

Roadtrip - Continuing their adventures around California, Caleb & Cassie took a trip up to Etna to spend the weekend with friends & Caleb begins to teach Cassie photography.

By November, they had really "fall"en for each other ;)

The Proposal - Cassie unknowingly takes a photo of Caleb, moments before he proposed, as he exits Pacifica Pizza (zoom in to see the ring box).

Engaged! - Caleb proposed under the gazebo in downtown Benicia & they announced to their families and friends that they were engaged to be married!!

Marriage - Caleb & Cassie are excited that their next fall photos together will be at their wedding & they will get to continue their lives together with their two doodle pups!
