Durango gets very busy in the summer so we recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible. VRBO/Airbnb are good options for larger groups. We did not reserve a hotel block anywhere, but we recommend the Doubletree and Strater because they are downtown and offer lots of dining and shopping options. Other chain hotel options are available a mile or two from downtown. Unfortunately no hotels offer airport shuttle service.

The wedding ceremony/dinner/reception is at our house, about 15 minutes south of Durango. Car rental is available from the airport. Uber/Lyft is spotty, but a few taxi services are pretty good: Buckhorn Limo, Durango Cab, or any of the cabs listed on the Durango airport website: www.flydurango.com. If you're flying in, renting a car is probably the best option.

Please let us know if you would be interested in a shuttle from downtown Durango to our house for the wedding on Saturday night. It would pick you up downtown, bring you up to our house, then take you back downtown afterwards. Even if you have a car with you and don't want to risk driving after a drink or two, we'd still love to take this drive off your hands. If enough show interest, we will rent a larger "bus" for the group. You will see a question in the RSVP about this shuttle.
