Hunter & Callie's story!

Hunter and Callie first met in the summer of 2016, just after graduating high school. Their love story began in the most unexpected of places—late-night car meets in the Walmart parking lot. (We know—so romantic, right?) With a little help from a mutual friend, Hunter got Callie’s number, and soon they were texting, hanging out, and building a connection that quickly turned into something special. On October 14th, 2016, they made it official and started dating. Six wonderful years later, on their anniversary trip, Hunter got down on one knee and proposed. Callie said yes, and they began the next chapter of their journey together. Now, three years after the engagement, they’re thrilled to finally say “I do!” surrounded by the family and friends who have supported them every step of the way. They can’t wait to celebrate this unforgettable day with all of you!

Meet the Girls Who Make the Magic Happen 💐🌾 We kept our bridal party small—just the ones who hold big pieces of our hearts. Our Matron of Honor is the kind of woman you’d want beside you in any season of life. She’s been through the mud and the wildflowers with us—loyal, grounded, and always ready with a warm hug or a reality check (depending on what’s needed). Our Flower Girls are our little rays of sunshine—barefoot-in-the-grass kind of sweet. They’ll be sprinkling petals, laughter, and just the right amount of mischief down the aisle. It’s a simple crew, but full of heart. Nothing too fancy—just love, laughter, and a little bit of country magic.

Tori isn’t just Callie’s best friend — she’s the sister Callie always wished for (without the sibling squabbles… well, most of the time 😉). These two have been inseparable for the past seven years, sharing everything from inside jokes and spontaneous get togethers to heart-to-hearts and way too much coffee. ☕️💬

Callie couldn’t imagine saying “I do” without Tori right there, hyping her up, fixing her dress, and probably trying not to cry (too much). She’s her go-to girl, her ride-or-die, and now her Matron of Honor.

And of course, no mention of Tori would be complete without noting that Hunter just loves to pick on her — it’s his unofficial hobby. 😂 But deep down (way, way down), he adores her too.

Tori is more than a best friend — she’s family, and Callie is beyond thankful to have her by her side on the biggest day of her life. 💙✨

Oaklee, the sweetest little star of the show (and proud daughter of Tori), is bringin’ the charm, the cuteness, and a whole lotta flower power to Callie and Hunter’s big day! 🌸✨

Callie is absolutely over the moon to have Oaklee as one of her flower girls — because let’s be honest, who else could sprinkle petals and steal hearts all at the same time? There’s just no way she could imagine walking down the aisle without this precious bundle of joy leading the way.

Y’all, we just have to gush about the most precious little bloom in Callie and Hunter’s big day—Miss Lillian, the darling daughter of sweet Tori! With a heart full of joy and a basket full of petals, Lillian is stepping into her role as flower girl like she was born for it.

Callie couldn’t be more thrilled to have Lillian by her side—honestly, she can’t imagine saying "I do" without this little ray of sunshine leading the way. Lillian’s giggles, twirls, and big ol’ smile are sure to sprinkle a little extra magic down the aisle. 💐

From lace and bows to giggles and grace, this flower girl is bringing all the Southern sweetness to this dreamy celebration. Callie loves Lillian more than words can say, and having her there is truly a dream come true!

Sure, tradition says every bride needs “something blue”… but I decided to upgrade that idea. Why settle for a ribbon or a garter when I can have a whole person?
Cheyenne is my Something Blue, not because of a color, but because of the calm, comfort, and joy she brings into my life. We haven’t known each other forever, but from the very first moment we met, it felt easy — natural — like our paths were meant to cross right when they did. She may be Hunter’s step-sister, but she’s become one of my dearest friends, woven into my heart in a way time can’t measure.

She keeps me laughing when I need it most and shows up for me without hesitation or explanation. Her kindness is effortless, her support is constant, and her willingness to help — no questions asked — is something I cherish more than she probably knows.

Having Cheyenne by my side on this day means more to me than any ribbon or charm ever could. She’s my something blue because she’s been a source of peace, love, and genuine friendship — the kind that feels like home.

The Groom’s Ride-or-Die Crew 🎣🛻💍 They’ve been through mud, rivers, and way too many “hold my beer” moments—and now, they’re trading tackle boxes and four-wheelers for ties (just for one day). The groom’s Best Man isn’t just a best friend—he’s the groom’s brother and lifelong partner-in-crime.—he’s part of the groom’s chosen family. From early morning fishing trips to late-night bonfires and backroad adventures, he’s been there through it all. If the groom’s ever got a wild story to tell, chances are this guy was in the passenger seat (or right behind him on the trail). Our Ring Security may be the youngest member of the crew, but don’t let that fool you—he’s the groom’s nephew and he’s got the heart of a true outdoorsman. Whether he’s chasing frogs, riding shotgun on a four-wheeler, or keeping the rings safe from any runaway raccoons (or groomsmen), he’s all in. It’s a small but mighty crew, bonded by mud, memories, and more than a few fishing tales.

Justin isn’t just Hunter’s brother — he’s his built-in best friend, partner in crime, fishing buddy, and four-wheeler co-pilot. 🎣🛻 From mud-covered adventures to quiet mornings casting lines, these two have shared more memories (and probably more near-disasters) than we can count.

When it came time to pick a best man, it wasn’t even a question. Hunter couldn’t imagine anyone else standing beside him — mostly because Justin’s been there all along, through every high, low, and muddy trail in between.

Hunter and Callie feel truly blessed to have Justin be a part of this next chapter — and they wouldn’t have it any other way. 💙

Hunter and Callie absolutely adore him and wouldn’t dream of sayin’ “I do” without their favorite fella by their side.

Celebrating With Us From the Stars ✨

Jeff Fox the brides father who passed February 6th, 2024Today, as Callie and Hunter start this beautiful chapter, there’s one person we know is smiling down on them — and probably shaking his head a little too. Callie’s dad, Jeff, may not be physically here, but his love, laughter, and let’s-go-hunting attitude are all over this day. Callie has so many memories of them together — whether they were out hunting or, in one of his moments of “dad duty,” taking her fishing (even though fishing wasn’t exactly his thing). He did it because he knew it made her happy, and that’s just who he was.Jeff was always ready to lend a hand — or the shirt off his back — and he welcomed Hunter into the family with the biggest open arms. He would’ve been so proud to see his only daughter marry the love of her life, but even though he passed a year and 11 months ago, Callie knows he’s still with her in spirit. His last words to her were full of love and pride, and she knows that he’s up there, watching with a big smile — maybe even a few proud tears — as she walks down the aisle today.So, let’s raise a glass to Jeff, the man who loved deeply, laughed often, and left a legacy that’ll never be forgotten.

Shawn Dahmen Loved one of the groom, who passed away April 8th, 2014 Today, we remember and honor Shawn, a dearly loved one in Hunter’s life, who passed away on April 8th, 2014, after a long battle with heart issues. Shawn may not be here with us physically, but his spirit and presence are forever in Hunter’s heart. Shawn was more than just his mom’s boyfriend — he was family, and his memory is cherished by Hunter, his mom, and his brother, Justin. Some of Hunter’s favorite memories with Shawn are from their trips to Virginia Beach as a family. And in memory of Shawn, every time Hunter and Callie go to Virginia Beach, they make sure to stop by North End Pizza — just like Hunter used to do with Shawn, his mom, and Justin. It’s a special way to honor the man who was always there with a smile, a laugh, and a whole lot of love. Shawn may not be physically here today, but his memory is alive and well in these small, meaningful moments, and Hunter and Callie know he’s looking down on them with a big smile.

Drake 🐾The Brides heart dog/bird dog who passed September 15th 2020 Callie’s Heart Dog, Forever a Wild BoyDrake wasn’t just a bird dog — he was the bird dog. Goofy, stubborn, full of mischief, and absolutely full of love. He had a wild spirit and a nose for trouble (and dead things… so many dead things). No kennel could hold him for long — he'd bust out just to find something smelly to roll in like it was a badge of honor.In his later years, Drake traded bird hunting for box turtle tracking, taking his "retirement job" just as seriously. But no matter how old he got, the second he heard Callie pull up, he’d lose his ever-loving mind until she came to love on him. It didn’t matter if she’d been gone five days or five minutes — she was his person, and he made sure she knew it.Drake was proudly shared with Billy Ray, and together they made quite the hunting team (and an even better comedy duo). Wild as he was, Drake’s loyalty ran deep. He loved Callie just as fiercely as she loved him — heart and soul, mud and all.Today, he’s surely watching from that big ol’ field in the sky, ears perked, tail wagging, and probably still smelling like trouble. 🐾Forever loved, forever missed, forever her boy.

Deloris Fox/Grandma FoxThe bride's Grandma who passed away October 13th 2022.Today, we remember and honor Callie’s beloved Grandma Deloris, who passed away on October 13th, 2022. Grandma Fox, or just Grandma as Callie called her, was a woman full of love, laughter, and warmth. Callie has so many fond memories of her — like waking up to the smell of biscuits and gravy nearly every morning when she stayed over at Grandma's house with her dad and Granddaddy. Grandma had a gift for making everyone feel loved through her cooking, and Callie remembers many early mornings, at 6 AM, when Grandma would have breakfast ready for her and her dad before they went out hunting.Grandma loved to cook for her family, but if Callie ever tried to sneak in and help, she was usually sent out of the kitchen with a smile — Grandma had her way of doing things! One of Callie’s favorite memories is when Grandma told her, with absolute certainty, that she was going to marry Hunter.Though Grandma passed just the day before Hunter and Callie got engaged, they know she is smiling down on them today, watching with love, pride, and maybe a little “told you so!” spirit. Callie and Hunter know her presence is with them in every step of their journey together.

The bride's Grandpa or as she called him Papa, who passed away July 22, 2022Today, as we celebrate love and family, we remember Callie’s Grandpa, or as she lovingly called him, Papa, Jeffry (or Jeff), who passed away on July 22, 2022. Jeff, Callie’s step-grandfather, was known for his infectious smile and his endless ability to make others laugh. He was the ultimate jokester, always ready with a quick one-liner or a playful grin, ensuring that everyone around him was smiling.When Callie was younger, Papa Jeff would take her and her cousin Kyle fishing, making sure those memories were filled with fun, laughter, and, of course, a few good-natured pranks along the way. Jeff met Hunter and immediately loved him — Callie is certain that Papa would have been thrilled to be here today, celebrating with them as they begin their next chapter.Though Jeff isn’t physically here, Callie and Hunter know that he’s watching over them, smiling, laughing, and probably cracking a joke or two from above.

Callie’s crew is full of strong hearts, big laughs, and a whole lot of adventure. She was raised with muddy boots, wild curls, and usually a stray/wild critter or two tagging along. Callie spent her days outside—climbing trees, running barefoot, giving every stray animal a name and a home (or at least trying to), and usually coming home with dirt on her face and a story to tell. Some of her favorite memories are of camping trips and beach days with her Pepaw and Memaw (including that one time she and her cousin got chased by a swarm of bees). Baking christmas cookies and homemade pizzas with her Nana and Papaw, to the steady, no-nonsense love of her mama. Bird hunting/guided hunts with her stepdad, Billy Ray. The two of them spent a few early mornings side-by-side with their trusty (and often mischievous) bird dog, Drake. No hunt or regular day was ever boring with him around. Drake had a real talent for escaping his kennel just long enough to roll in something horrific—and more than once, Callie and Billy Ray had to wrangle him back, gagging and laughing, while he wagged his tail like he’d just won a prize. Callie’s life has been filled with grit, love, and just enough chaos to keep things fun. Though Drake has since crossed over the rainbow bridge, his spirit is never far. May he forever be rolling in something questionable and loving every second of it on the other side. From wild bird dog adventures to beach days and sleepovers at Nana &amp; Papaws and Pepaw and Memaws, Callie was raised by a family who loved her fiercely and taught her to be strong, grounded, and just the right kind of stubborn.

Billy Ray — Stepdad, Partner in Crime, and Chief Dog WhispererBilly Ray — or as Callie calls him, her stepdad and partner in crime — has been right there through all the good, the messy, and the downright hilarious moments. Together, they led guided bird hunts at dawn, worked the bird dogs (especially ol’ Drake and the painter pup), and survived Drake’s legendary antics.Now, if you ever met Drake, you’d know he wasn’t just any bird dog. That dog had a talent for breakin’ out of his run faster than a greased pig at a county fair. And where did he go? Straight to the nastiest, stinkiest dead things he could find to roll around in—like it was his personal spa treatment. Billy Ray would shake his head, try to catch him, and probably swear he smelled like a barnyard disaster for days. Even though Drake’s crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we’re convinced he’s still up there, causing mischief and making the angels wonder how to get the smell out.Billy Ray shares Callie’s love for dogs — or as he fondly calls them, “fur persons.” But his love doesn’t stop there. He was her biggest fan, cheering at her softball games while she caught like a pro, never missing seeing her off to a high school dance, and taking her to car and bike shows where they spent hours drooling over shiny engines and dreaming of the open road.Spent countless hours chopping wood, sneaking life lessons in between the swings of the axe.Billy Ray loved Callie like his own daughter, even when he didn’t have to. Linda Dennison/NanaNana — The One Who Helped Raise Our Wild-Hearted Bride 🐾💖Y’all, if you know Callie, you know her heart is as big as a barn—and a big part of that comes from her Nana.Nana didn’t just help raise Callie, she helped shape her into the fierce, kind-hearted, animal-lovin’ tomboy we all adore. From wranglin’ muddy boots to bottle-feeding baby rabbits, she’s been there through it all—with a grin, a gentle nudge, and maybe the occasional “Now girl, what exactly are you doin’ with that animal?”Whether it was chasing after critters, patching scraped knees, or reminding Callie (more than once) not to bring every stray animal inside, Nana loved her through it all—mud, mess, and every wild-hearted moment. Steve &amp; Viki Roach or to Callie Pepaw &amp; MemawPepaw &amp; Memaw — Campfire Chefs, Bee Rescuers, and Beach Day Legends 🏕️🍕🌊Callie didn’t just grow up with love—she grew up with adventure, thanks to two of her favorite people: Pepaw &amp; Memaw.From cookin’ pizzas over the campfire to jumping waves and building castles in the sand, these two knew how to turn an ordinary day into something magical. Memaw always had the snacks (seriously, always), and Pepaw? He was the first to dive into the ocean or help dig the biggest, most dramatic sandcastle moat you’ve ever seen.Callie will never forget those fun-filled camping trips, the late-night sleepovers at their house, and all the sun-soaked beach days that still make her smile. They were more than just trips—they were memory-making marathons.And of course… the bee story.One year, during a camping trip, little Callie and her cousin decided to take a walk in the woods near the campsite—innocent enough, right? Until they accidentally stirred up an entire nest of bees. Chaos followed. They took off running like the forest was on fire, bees chasing them like something out of a cartoon. Poor Callie ended up with one bee in her shirt, and in her young, dramatic mind, that bee wasn’t just stinging her—it was trying to kill her.Memaw, cool as ever, leapt into action. There she was, wrangling a panicked child, getting that bee out, and keeping it together while Callie flailed like she’d been hit by lightning. (Meanwhile, Pepaw probably stood nearby trying not to laugh.)That mix of fun, love, and just a little bit of chaos? That’s what made growing up with Pepaw &amp; Memaw so special.
