Our Wedding

The first time we met was at a Range Club meeting at Texas A&amp;M. We were both Range Management majors and quickly found out that we had lots in common, beginning with a shared affinity for Townes Van Zandt and quail hunting. We enjoyed being friends for a while then started going on dates in early 2022 and never stopped! We dated from a distance for a couple of years as we lived and worked in our respective locations... burnt up a lot of miles in an effort to spend just about every weekend together.

June 14, 2024 we got engaged on the ranch where Weston was living as the sun set behind the mesquite trees. Thank you Shiner for taking our engagement photos in Alpine!!

With Callie Jo busy in grad school and Weston working two jobs, we were finding it difficult to plan a wedding that covers all our bases... Weston being from south TX and CJ from western NM. We decided to surprise Callie Jo's grandparents in Tennessee over Thanksgiving and have a backyard "elopement" with just a few family members. The day was so special and memorable.

Now we are SO excited to finally get to celebrate with all our people. We have been so blessed in our journey so far and can't wait for what's to come! Thank you for being part of OUR STORY!! We love y'all,Weston &amp; Callie Jo

Pack your boots and head to downtown Abilene for the weekend!! Nearest airports are Abilene, Lubbock, and Fort Worth. The DoubleTree by Hilton is a few blocks from the venue and we will have a shuttle from the DoubleTree to bring our guests to and from the reception. There are also great AirBnB options and other hotels in the area!
