There are multiple ways to get to key west and each is an adventure

1) Fly directly into key west. You can easily grab an uber from the airport. Keep an eye out on flight prices. Allegiant flies from BNA (Nashville) round trip for $100 if you can catch the deal!

2) The Key West Express is a boat that leaves from Marco Island and Fort Myers FL. It takes about 3 hours to get to Key West from either of those locations.

3) A perk of driving to Key West is the 7 mile bridge. It connects all the small islands together. There are a lot of cool stops along the way as well. You can fly into Miami, rent a car, and take the 3 hour scenic route! Once in Key West, I would just suggest dropping the rental car off or finding street parking and not moving it the whole time, as parking can be difficult there. If you do not want to drive yourself, there is a bus you can catch from Miami as well.
