Q + A

Why are you getting married on the 3rd of July?

For Matthew, it is the 81st wedding anniversary of his late maternal Grandparents, T.K. & Peggy Freeman. They raised four children in the Seattle area, Rick (passed), Patricia (Matthew's mother), Thomas, and David. T.K. worked for Boeing and NASA and was involved in projects like the Moon Buggy.

T.K. & Peggy built the original A-Frame cabin at 300 North Beach Drive, and retired on the water in the 1980's. The Spit has changed a lot in the last 40 years, but several generations of Freeman's and Wilson's have built traditions and many wonderful memories of time on the water, and we couldn't think of a better way to honor their legacy.

For Callie, the 3rd of July is her late maternal Grandfather, Edward Soltesz's birthday. And in our time together she has fallen in love with the cabin and what it means for our family and our future children.
