What should I wear?

The attire is black tie optional. This generally means more dressed up than Sunday morning and no jeans or shorts. Our theme is timeless and Christ-centered, and we ask that you reflect that in your dress. It is a fun occasion to dress up and celebrate! There are no specific colors, but soft tones and floral prints go nicely with our decor. The ceremony and reception will be inside, and you will not have to leave the building to get from one location to the next.

Is there anything I need to do or bring for the wedding?

I am so glad you asked! You do not need to bring anything, but we would love for you to be familiar with the hymns being sung prior to and in the ceremony. Twenty minutes prior to the ceremony, we will have a singing in the ceremony hall of hymns chosen by the bride and groom. We would love all of you to join! There will also be two hymns within the ceremony. On the Home tab we have links to the songs for your learning. Thank you for helping us celebrate and honor God through our wedding. Hymn List: Come We That Love the Lord; My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less; Hymn of Heaven; Come Thou Fount; I Love You, Lord; The Lord Bless You and Keep You; Goodness of God.

I am a guest from out of town. Where should I stay the night?

Thank you for traveling from afar for our wedding! it means so much that you have given time and money to be with us on our special day. There are a few hotels in Dyersburg near the venue, and Lydia's mother has blocked rooms at the Holiday Inn Express. Go to the travel tab for information on how to book these before the cut-off date of August 6th. You are welcome to stay at any of the places, and if you have trouble with accommodation searching please contact Martha Todd.

I am looking at your registry and want to know, what are your biggest needs?

As we will be moving a lot in the near future and paying legal fees, our The Knot's Moving Fund is the most needed gift. We have only added non-perishable, somewhat easily moveable, or immediately useful items to both our American and UK registries, and we appreciate any showering of prayers or gifts you choose to give. Thank you for supporting us from our Day One! If you choose to shop from the Amazon UK list, it will ship to his home in England. It should prompt you to create an Amazon UK account–if the shipping is ridiculously high, you may still be on Amazon.com and not Amazon.co.uk. :)

How do I RSVP and can I bring a Plus One?

Select the RSVP tab on our wedding website and search your name. You can type it in if you do not see it, and make any corrections needed. Please RSVP for everyone in your party. You are welcome to bring a plus one, but please let us know via RSVP so that we can have enough food. Kindly RSVP for the wedding by July 19th and for the UK celebration by October 10th.

Can I bring my kids?

Absolutely! Just make sure you add their name(s) to your RSVP (if older than babies) so we have enough food for everyone.

What time should I arrive?

We will set guest book out an hour before the ceremony starts and move it to reception area 5 minutes before the ceremony begins. Pre-ceremony starting at 4:10 pm, there will be 20 minutes of singing of hymns chosen by the bride and groom. We ask you all to join! Please arrive no later than 4:15 pm, 15 minutes before the ceremony begins, as we would not want you to miss recording your presence in the guest registry and being able to be seated for the ceremony. We will close doors for a prompt start at 4:30 pm.

Can I take photos?

We ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as we have hired an amazing photographer, but you are welcome to take as many photos as you like during the reception!

Where do I park?

The venue has plenty of parking, and we will have attendants to lead you to the right spot. :)
