One fateful day in 2016 a new server started working at the Sheraton Cavalier in Saskatoon. She quickly caught the eye of a Bartender who had been working at the Hotel for what felt like a lifetime at that point. They quickly hit it off with friendly conversation, and the Bartender was always happy to see the Server’s name show up beside his on the schedule to be working the same day. However the Server only worked there for a few months before she resigned and went back home to Vietnam to attend to some family matters.

The Bartender continued to think about her a lot when she was gone from Saskatoon and upon her return he asked her to go out for supper (it was the second smartest thing he ever did). She thankfully said yes, and as they say the rest is history.

Over a shared love of food, coffee, nature, outdoors and other activities, this friendship blossomed into a relationship.

Fast forward quite a few years later to January 27, 2024 where on a beautiful beach after a long walk over some coffee in Hawaii the Bartender asked the Server to Marry him (the smartest thing he ever did). Thankfully she said yes!

If you haven’t figured it out by now this is the story of Alex and Tu. We’d like to thank everyone who has helped us along the way, and we are excited for you to celebrate our special day with us, and we look forward to seeing you all on June 28th!
