Head downtown to experience Fort Wayne's beautiful riverfront. Take a walk in the canopy trail, take a kayak down the St. Mary's River, or dip your toes in the water while eating some ice cream!

Promenade Park

Come experience this award-winning zoo and enjoy three well-themed sections with some of the coolest exhibits in the country! Make sure you ride the train!

Fort Wayne Children's Zoo

Go check out the coolest place in the 260 for musicians! There is an endless collection of instruments to play, and the cafeteria food is stellar!

Sweetwater Sound

Food:

One of the most iconic spots in The Fort! Two coneys with everything and a bottle of Coke will never disappoint! Don't forget to try the daily slice of pie.

Coney Island

The best Thai food in the city, and it isn't close! There isn't a bad item on the menu. The crab rangoons are to die for!

Nawa

High-quality, authentic Italian flavors at reasonable prices – nothing beats it! You will be dreaming about the chocolate cake for years!

Casa Grille

This is a newer drive-thru spot that was added after Sophia and I moved to Bloomington, but the coffee here is incredible (and we are very picky about our coffee so we really mean that)! This is the perfect place to stop by for your morning drink or a quick afternoon pick-me-up.
