Skipton Castle is located at the top of Skipton High Street. Skipton is easy to reach by all modes of transport.

From M1 (travelling north)

M1, M62 west, M606 to Bradford, A650 to Keighley, A629 to Skipton.

From M6 (travelling north)

M65 to end, A56 to Skipton.

From M6 (travelling south)

A65 to Skipton

There is a large car park at the rear of the castle.

By Train

125 from London to Leeds and Bradford

Frequent trains from Leeds and Bradford to Skipton.

There is also a direct service from Kings Cross, London to Skipton.

Fernhill Castle is easily accessible by both car and train. From Skipton Castle, drive 10 minutes south towards Keighley and take a left turn at Main Street on Skipton Road. From there the Castle entrance is the first gate on the right.

Alternatively, the Castle is conveniently located a 15 minute walk from Cononley train station.
