What time should I arrive?

The ceremony begins at 4:00 pm. Please arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to park and find your seat.

How does seating work?

The ceremony will be open seating so sit wherever you please! However, we are requesting you avoid the first two rows on either side at the ceremony for our immediate family. For the reception, we will be carefully arranging tables so our guests are sat with those they know. Please do not move seats when the meal is being served as some guests have dietary restrictions and allergies that we would like to respect.

Are Kids invited?

We decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only event (the only exceptions are the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family). Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Formal (Black tie optional). We would love to see our friends and family get fancy with us. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo or a suit and tie.

What should I avoid wearing?

We hope you see this day as an opportunity to have fun and dress up! Please avoid wearing sneakers, white/cream dresses, and jeans. We hope you understand and respect this request.

CAN I BRING A DATE/GUEST?

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Thank you for understanding!

WILL THE CEREMONY BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

The ceremony and reception will be indoors. The cocktail hour will be held both inside and outside the Bent Tree Country Club. When you arrive it will be to the right of the valet station. We will be holding the cocktail hour on both front patios as well as the welcome area directly inside the doors.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We ask you to kindly turn off your ringer during the wedding ceremony and refrain from taking photos. We have professional photographers on hand to capture all the special moments and are excited to share their photos with you!

What is parking like?

For the ceremony, you will need to park in the back of St. Andrew's Methodist Church by the Hasley Chapel. For the reception, valet is complimentary. When you arrive at Bent Tree Country Club you will drive up to the front of the building if you prefer to valet. If you choose not to valet, please park in the parking lot to the right of the building. We are excited to share our big day with you and would love to share all of the tomorrows to come as well. If you plan on drinking we recommend using a rideshare app (Uber, Lyft) for transportation.

Does the hotel have transportation to the wedding?

If you choose to stay at the A Loft Plano, there is a complimentary shuttle that runs Monday - Friday from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes. Please be aware that the shuttle will not be available on the day of the wedding and they do not offer complimentary rides and/or pickups from any DFW airport.

Is St. Andrew's Methodist Church and Bent Tree Country Club Wheelchair Accessible?

Yes!
