What should I wear?
Formal! Women can opt for a cocktail dress, evening gown, mid-length gown, dressy top and skirt, or elegant jumpsuit. For men suit jackets, dress shoes and ties are preferred. Tuxedos can be worn too if desired.
How do I get to the venue?
Beatnik West Town, 1604 W Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL, 60622. Make sure you don’t go to the Beatnik location in River North. If you’re staying in the loop/downtown, uber might geo locate you to this location but Beatnik West Town is the correct one!
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Please arrive promptly to the venue at 6:00pm as the ceremony will start at 6:30pm.
Can I Take Pictures During The Ceremony/Reception?
In order to be fully present, please refrain from taking photos during the actual ceremony. During the cocktail hour, reception, dinner, dancing and party feel free to take as many pictures as you like!
Can I bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, our venue needs exact numbers so we are only counting those who are on our guest list.
Can I bring my children?
We love your kids, but for our special day we are requesting that this day be taken as a fun date night for the parents.
Where Do You Recommend Staying?
If you look under the “Hotels” tab, there are a bunch of different options with some discounted rates fairly close to the venue. If you opt to choose your own hotel, the good news is there is an abundance in Chicago. The most fun neighborhoods that are close to the venue are West Loop, River North, Gold Coast and Wicker Park.
When do I need to RSVP by?
Please RSVP before March 31st. You can RSVP on our website under "RSVP" tab.
