Airport: Puerto Vallarta (PVR): Delta has direct flights from SLC-PVR once daily. This is the easiest option, however, other airlines fly there with connections daily as well. Puerto Vallarta to Sayulita -&nbsp;Approximately 45 minutes by car, there are plenty of car rentals at the airport. If you do not want to drive in Mexico there are taxi's/uber or private transfers can be setup through the hotel. The cheapest option is to take the local bus from the airport to Sayulita. Our Wedding

The Beginning: A Cat and Mouse PursuitWe initially 'met' by matching on Tinder in the Spring of 2016, where we exchanged some contact information to keep in touch. We didn't actually meet in person until the fall of 2016 at a ski movie premier; technically our first date. Connor's beard was large after backpacking and traveling around Europe all summer and Cameron wasn't too keen on it. We had a nice evening that ended with a brief kiss on the porch. We didn't see each other again until months later in the winter of 2017 where we went snowboarding together. Again, we had fun, and there was some obvious chemistry, but we kept our pleasantries with a hug and a kiss goodbye, and then silence for months ...

The Middle: Let's Give it a ShotThe whole cat and mouse game of only seeing each other every 6 months or so went on until the spring of 2019. We then decided to give it a chance and went on a couple more casual dates. It was an interesting time because Cameron had begun a new job that entailed a lot of travel so it made making plans a little more difficult. However, as they say, distance makes the heart grow fonder. We finally went on a proper date where Connor asked Cam to be his girlfriend and actually started dating seriously.

The Next Chapter: Let's Live TogetherThankfully our relationship turned into an incredible&nbsp;one that only continues to grow every day. When Connor decided it was time to move in together, he slowly started bringing his things over to Cameron's place, where she was living in a mother in law basement apartment. She noticed this new pattern and discussed it over with everyone, including her friend who was her landlord at the time. Received all green lights, and the move began. By fall, we both realized being in a basement wasn't ideal. By winter, we really bonded over our built up frustration with the constant noise produced above us.

Chapter CovidSpring of 2020 was a shock for everyone. Cameron was fun-employed for a few months with a new job lined up to begin in March; ironically was also when the world shut down. Our living situation was no longer suitable and we hit the house market at the same time as everyone else. We competed with people giving cash offers tens of thousands of dollars over asking price, waiving contingencies, and even free lease backs. Finally, we found a diamond in the rough, and bought a house in south salt lake. And woah was it rough. We spent the following couple years renovating the place where we were able to turn our blood, sweat, and tears into something we were proud to call home.

Present Day: Where We Currently ResideA new opportunity was presented to us in the fall of 2023 to live in the mountains of summit county, and we didn't skip a beat to make the move. We still have quite a few projects in store for the mountain earth ship ... however we've decided to take our time and focus more on enjoying the process of building our lives together; which includes adventures, travel, and of course, activities. We cannot wait to celebrate our next new chapter with you all in a place that encompasses everything we love. Cheers!

How to make reservations:&nbsp; Call:&nbsp;You can make the reservation via a phone call, you will only have to mention our wedding name&nbsp;Raterink/Butterfield&nbsp;for availability,&nbsp;and you can complete the reservation by phone. The hotel will read you the cancellation policy and fill out any necessary forms for you. They will email a confirmation shortly after the call. Is the tap water safe to drink? NO! Do NOT drink tap water in Sayulita. Don't even brush your teeth with it. When ordering drinks, ensure they're being made with bagged ice. They're usually very good about this. Bottled water is safest. If you buy vegetables &amp; fruit, you can soak them in 8 drops of Microdyne per liter of water for 15 minutes.

What should I bring? Comfortable walking shoes! As mentioned in another question, the city is walkable, but is a bit hilly in some areas. The streets are also variable and bumpy so best to avoid any tall heels. A swimsuit! There are a few pool options at the hotel, as well as walking distance to the beach. If you are staying at the hotel, surf boards are included. Sunscreen! Remember we're going to be in a tropical climate where the sun is stronger and more direct. If you do forget to bring any, it's okay, there are a lot of shops or markets nearby to purchase it.

How do I get around within the city? Within Sayulita: The city is a small and walkable surf town with shops and restaurants all within a few minutes walk. It is rather hilly in a few places, especially the farther from the beach you go. If you don't want to walk, golf carts are available for rent everywhere.

Why Sayulita? We typically don't like traveling to the same place, however, Sayulita will never get old! It is easy to get to, in the safest state in Mexico and has a lot of options for everyone; See a list of activities under the 'Things to Do' tab on this site.

How long should we stay? We have a room block at Amor Boutique Hotel with a check in on Thursday, the 29th, and check out Sunday, the 1st. You are more than welcome to come earlier, or stay longer to make this trip a vacation for you and your family.&nbsp;Cam and Connor will be there for a few days before the wedding, and staying until the following Tuesday.

Do we need to stay at Amor Boutique Hotel? No, however, having been to Sayulita a few times the location is perfect on the south side of the bay, walking distance to the beach. The rooms are incredible, and reasonably priced, but mostly it would be fun to have as many people as possible staying in the same area. This is also where the wedding and reception will be on Friday, the 30th. Below is a map of all the villas available:

We have all the villas at Amor Boutique Hotel currently blocked out so that bookings and reservations are available for our event with check in on Thursday, May 29th and check out Sunday, June 1st. This room block is good until 120 days prior to the event, at which point all rooms not booked, will then be available to the public.
