Yes! There is an abundance of other hotels that are walking distance or a short drive from Springhill Suites. You are welcome to stay in any hotel that you would like, however, just know that we only have rooms blocked at a discounted rate with Springhill suites. Additionally, the shuttle will only be picking up and dropping guests back off at Springhill Suites, so I ask if you are choosing to stay in a different hotel, please walk or drive over to Springhill Suites if you are choosing to utilize the shuttle service

Guest are not permitted to arrive at the venue until 4pm, no earlier.

Yes, but be sure to park in the correct parking lot as there are 2 venues on the grounds, each with their own parking. There will most likely be a wedding going on at the other venue, so be sure to park in the correct parking lot so you are not taking spaces from family and friends attending the other wedding. The Parking lot for the Timberlodge is closest to the road. If you do end up having 1 too many drinks, guests are allowed to leave cars in the lot overnight so you can take the shuttle safely back to the hotel.

Unless you are our adorable little nephew (the ring bearer), no kids are allowed! Ideally, guests will be 18 or older

The Ceremony will be held outdoors, and the reception will mainly be held indoors, but is able to extend outside, weather permitting of course.

First, we will not stress as rain is seen as good luck, although we will take our chances with a nice sunny day without rain. But if it does happen to rain, we have until 1pm to move the ceremony to a covered area, however, if it is only sprinkling/lightly raining, we will continue with the ceremony outdoors, and we strongly encourage you to bring an umbrella to be prepared, but for the sake of our pictures, we will ask everyone to bring a clear umbrella. We will also supply clear umbrellas for those who do not have one.

The plan right now is to go back to the hotel and just hangout. Since outside food and drink is permitted, we will likely have coolers filled with different types of drinks, and possibly snacks as well, if anyone is feeling hungry, but hopefully all of the food at the wedding will fill everyone up! There is an outside patio with a firepit, and a large lobby area for groups to congregate. There are also bars and restaurants near the hotel if you are feeling up to go out and partying the night away!
