What can I expect from a Catholic wedding mass?

A Catholic wedding mass is a sacred and traditional celebration that includes scripture readings, hymns, a homily, the exchange of vows and rings, prayers, and the Eucharist (Holy Communion). The focus is on the sacrament of marriage and how two shall become one.If you’re not familiar with the a Catholic mass, don’t worry—simply follow along with the congregation. You’re welcome to join in the responses and hymns, or simply observe quietly. Non-Catholic guests are asked to remain seated during Communion and may offer a silent prayer if they wish.To remain reverent and respectful, please silence phones, avoid flash photography, and participate with a calm, prayerful attitude. Your presence and support mean so much to us as we celebrate this sacred and holy moment!

Can I bring my children to the mass and reception?

Yes, of course! We love your little ones! All children on the RSVP list are welcome to attend both the wedding mass and the reception. If during the ceremony your child becomes restless or needs a break, you are invited to step outside with them or use the church basement. This will help us to maintain a prayerful and reverent atmosphere. Thank you for your understanding!
