Flights
You will fly into Puerto Vallarta (PVR) which is just under an hour taxi ride from Sayulita. You can set up drivers ahead of time or just grab a taxi from the airport. We used both options here in the past and both are great. Taxis are a cheaper and easy option, expect to pay 1200-1400 (60-70$) pesos for a taxi
Traveling around Sayulita
Sayulita is a small authentic beach town about one hour from Puerto Vallarta. Once there, most hotels and airbnbs are walking distance anywhere you would want to go, including wedding festivities (5-20 minutes). Golf cart rentals are also an option and all over the town with golf cart parking at our venue.
The Original Villa Amor
We fell in love with this hotel when visiting Sayulita. It is a stone throw away from our venue. Please make note of the amount of stairs necessary to access each room when booking if your mobility is limited, there are no elevators.
Please contact the hotel directly by phone or email and mention our names “Meghan Grossmann & Cameron Smyth” to book during our weekend as it is blocked off on their site. Limited rooms are reserved through July 2025 before opening to the public so do not hesitate to book if you want to stay here!
Hotel Ysuri Sayulita
This is a beautiful hotel right down the street from the venue with beach front views, a restaurant right outside and even next door to a spa. It is next door to the Villa Amor
Sayulinda Hotel
This hotel is in a great location in the center of Sayulita! In the heart of it all with restaurants and bars surrounding you and less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Beautiful roof top pool with a bar and hangout area. Walkable to the venue or a quick golf cart ride away
Playa Escondida
Have you seen the famous reality TV show Bachelor In Paradise? Well, here is where it was filmed! Just a little outside the main town of Sayulita you can find a perfect mix of jungle and beach front room for your stay. It is a little outside of the main town however most rooms come with a golf cart for easy access into town.
Airbnb
Airbnb is a great and safe option as there are many located throughout the city. We recently used this option on a family vacation to Sayulita and it was great! Please contact Meghan or Cameron when booking if you have questions or concerns about the location of the rental.
