Colorado County Attorney's Conference, November 2014, Cameron had recently started her new position as an Assistant County Attorney for Summit County. A perk of this new job was attending the conference twice a year; winter and summer. This winter however, Cameron was the only attorney available to attend from her office and was sent solo to mingle with County Attorneys across the state.

While chatting with Mike on the second day of the conference he nervously extends his now famously worded offer of "well, I'm not doing anything, I guess I could eat with you." The two grabbed a bite to eat and couple beers that evening at a local brewery.

A couple weeks later, the couple had their first official date skiing at Keystone, and nine and a half years and two dogs later... the rest is history.
