Chelsey and Cam met in New York City in October of 2014. Their paths crossing hinged on a college connection who Chelsey met while visiting friends at Purdue and Cameron studied abroad with in Italy. After an impromptu glass of wine on a Saturday night they decided that this wasn't just another date in New York, but something special. Cam asked Chelsey to meet him for dinner the following week.

Cam asked Chelsey to go to an old school New York gem called Arturo's in Soho for Pizza and Jazz on a Thursday. Cam's strikingly good looks and Chelsey's deep love for pizza made for a request she couldn't turn down.

After a delicious meal, great music and a unbeatable piece of cheese cake, they decided to go for a night cap a bit further down in Soho at The Dutch. Spirited discussion and a cocktails filled the evening. After one drink, Chelsey casually asked Cam if he was "getting bitten by mosquitos". Seeing that it was the end of October, Cam shot Chelsey a rather perplexed look. Chelsey proceeded to pull her chair back to reveal that she had in-fact been feasted upon by a mosquito and her legs were covered in bites.

Like a knight in shining armor, Cam walked Chelsey to CVS and got her benadryl so she felt better. He walked her back to her apartment and hopped on the train back to Harlem. Chelsey was smitten from that day forward :)
