Questions about the wedding or other events.

Before the Wedding:
1.    When should I RSVP for the wedding?
Ideally as soon as possible. We are hoping to get a final head count at least a month before the wedding date. We understand that things happen, but we’d love to see you there.
2.    Can I anticipate bringing a plus one or added family members?
Unfortunately, our venue has a limited capacity so we are only able to invite those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation when you rsvp. We love all of you very much and thank you for your understanding.
3.    I have allergies and need to know what food will be served?
We are planning on doing a buffet style dinner for the event and will have it listed once it is finalized closer to the event in case anyone has any allergies or food preferences.
4.    Should I plan my travel in advance?
Yes please, we have secured a hotel room block for guests who wish to stay overnight closer to the venue. If you would like to book one of these rooms we have included a link on the website so you are able to book accommodation.
5.    I want to help plan the wedding how do I get involved?
Thank you so much for wanting to help us plan our special day! We have a lot to do before the day of we would love your help. Email us at elbandakwedding@gmail.com and we can plan some wedding planning together!


The Day of the Wedding:
1.    What is the attire?
Formal or black tie optional. Please no flipflops and no shorts. Please be careful wearing stiletto heels at our venue. Some of the events will be outside and there is a bit of walking involved so please plan accordingly. Our venue is located in the Santa Cruz mountains so please bring a jacket for when it gets colder in the evening. Also bring your best pair of dancing shoes we want to see you out on the dance floor with us!
2.    Can I bring my gift to the wedding or should I just send it to you?
Absolutely, we will have a gift and card table set up when you get there. Whatever is easiest for you we just hope to see you there!
3.    Can I take pictures at the venue?
Yes please! Take all the pictures you want of the reception and hashtag us on Instagram #elbandakwedding. We want to compile guest photos and videos of the event. However, during the ceremony we ask that you please refrain from taking pictures or video. Please do not step into the aisle to take pictures and please do not hold your phone above eye-level. We have two photographers present who will be taking pictures of this part of the event.
4.    Can I take my child/children to your wedding?
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception adults only.
5.    Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there will be parking at the venue. Parking is limited so carpool if you can. There is ADA parking available and golf carts present at the venue for guests who need help getting around the venue.
6.    I want to bring my own alcohol is this okay?
We would love to have a drink with you at the wedding! Unfortunately, outside liquor not provided by our vendors is not allowed. We will be hosting a full open bar so we should have whatever you would like to drink.
7.    Is there anything about the venue I should know before arriving?

8.    How do I get there and when should I arrive?
We ask that you arrive 20-30 minutes before we begin so you can find your seats and enjoy the venue space. Included is a map of the venue and directions to the site.
