Garrett and I met at Travis Middle School in 6th grade in 2008. We were part of the same friend group, we would have lunch together every day, and even held hands behind the band hall while we waited for our parents to pick us up.

Fast forward to the end of 2019, Garrett decided to send me a message asking if I was moving back to Texas after I graduated from undergrad. I thought he was doing a project for a class but that was just his pickup line... it worked. We began dating in February of 2020 and have been growing together since.
