Please visit the "Travel" page for more information!

What is the closet airport to the wedding venue?

The Dayton International Airport is located in Vandalia, Ohio, just about 20 minutes from downtown Dayton and the university. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport & the John Glenn Columbus International Airport are both just a little over an hour from Dayton.

Is the ceremony & reception at the same venue?

No, the ceremony and reception are at two different venues. The ceremony is at the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on the University of Dayton's campus and will begin promptly at 4pm. The cocktail hour & reception is just a short drive away at the Dayton Art Institute. The cocktail hour will begin at 5:30pm, with the reception to follow. The Dayton Art Institute allows guests to roam the upper art exhibits during cocktail hour. Just please note that no food or drink is allowed within the actual art galleries.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel & wedding venue?

Guests at the Marriott at the University of Dayton will have access to the hotels free shuttle system but rides will need to be scheduled by the guests prior to drop off/pickup times. The shuttle can hold 12 people at a time & ends at 10pm. Uber and Lyft are also accessible in the area. Please note the Courtyard Marriot does not offer a shuttle.

Is there parking near your wedding venues?

Yes! Free parking will be available at both on University of Dayton campus and at the Dayton Art Institute. Any single letter lot is available to park in on UDs campus. Lot B is the closest to the chapel. Lot P is also a short walk to the chapel, and is located at the bottom of the hill by the Frericks building. There is an open lot outside of the Dayton Art Institute for parking. You may also park your car in the lot over night, if needed.
