David and I became friends in high school. We grew especially close during David's senior year while David was the assistant drum major in the REU. I was a bassist. (feat. Adam congrats to him and Tori on their own wedding and in welcoming of their baby!!!)

After high school, David joined the US Navy's nuclear submarine program and has worked as a nuclear mechanic since. He and I continued as friends while he went through bootcamp and his different school things.

A romance (rah rah rah ah ahhh) began between David and I during the pandemic and we briefly dated, but we ultimately decided to stay friends. David moved back to California late in the year and we continued to talk often.

David and I got back together in March of 2022, in the middle of his first deployment. We've been openly obsessed with each each other ever since. (falling in love over emails and phone calls is cute! just saying!)

In July of 2022, David bought his first home, and I promptly took a trip to go visit him the next month (as a birthday gift to myself), and David took me to Disneyland! (it was his first time at Star Wars Land and it was sick!)

Christmas of the same year, I went on my first Brockman family trip to the snow. (these people have strong sled run and igloo game)

David and I took a roadtrip and had our first vacation together! We celebrated our first anniversary and David's birthday with tons good food and sight seeing. (he was my favorite view heheheheheh >:))

On our one year anniversary, we spent the day exploring Las Vegas and ate dinner at The Top of the World in the Strat. (that steak melted like butter)

David took me to the 123rd Navy Sub Ball and was promoted to rank E6, becoming an MMN1. (hes a great boss imo js js)

After a few months of two day trips back and forth, we had the second annual Brockman+Camille family snow trip! (i think they like me hehe!) Afterword, I spent the remainder of my winter break with David in San Diego.

Just a week after I went back to Fairfield, David asked my parents for their blessing, and drove overnight to ask me to marry him! (screaming crying why is he so romantic???)

David and I were blessed to have had the opportunity to be civilly married in the presence of close relatives before his second deployment. Now, we get to plan our dream wedding to celebrate our story with all of our loved ones! (that's you!)
