Our story begins back in high school — sophomore year, to be exact — when we dated briefly before life took us in different directions. We went our own ways, growing, learning, and becoming the people we were meant to be. Fast forward seven years, and fate (with a little help from a hometown bar) brought us back together.

Not long after, Katie reached out to Cam, suggesting a coffee date... or maybe drinks? Cam ended up choosing drinks and we met at The Block in St. Louis Park on a quiet Sunday night. What was supposed to be a quick catch-up turned into hours of conversation — the kind that makes time disappear. We ended up closing down the restaurant and walking away knowing something special was starting.

As it turns out, our lives had been running in parallel all along — we grew up just 10 minutes apart, spent summers only 10 minutes away from each other at our families’ lake places in Glenwood, and when we reconnected, we were (once again) living just 10 minutes apart in the metro area.

Now, we live together in the West End of St. Louis Park with our sweet dog, Charm, and our curious cat, Lokai. Through every twist and turn, God led us back to each other — and we are so thankful to be walking into this next chapter of life hand-in-hand, grounded in faith and surrounded by love.
