Rewind to Curtis, NE circa 2020. Camryn and Cole both attended Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. Following college graduation, Cole was working on a ranch near Curtis and Camryn was still attending college. Cole found himself often frequenting the college scene, as many of his friends still went there. One of Cole's best buddies, Trevor, lived in the Rodeo House (if you know you know) across from the college. Camryn lived right next door. Camryn also worked at a senior living facility, where Cole's grandparents lived. Camryn and Cole were acquaintances at most.

Whether Cole was visiting his grandparents or hanging with friends the interactions became more frequent. Camryn was making it obvious she was interested, although Cole was fairly naïve. Trevor insisted to Cole that Camryn "had a thing" for him. The two began to bond over their mutual passions and similar upbringings. Even though Camryn won't admit it, they both enjoyed their many night-calving "dates" in the infancy of their relationship.

In March 2020, while the world was shutting down, little did they know, their life together was just starting. Camryn invited Cole to her house for supper. That night, Cole asked Camryn to be his girlfriend and she replied "Sure!". In true Nebraska fashion a blizzard came in and they were snowed in until the next day.

Camryn moved in with Cole in March of 2021. They moved from their house in Wellfleet to Hastings in September of 2021. In June of 2023 Cole and Camryn got engaged. The plan for the romantic engagement went out the window, once the anticipation began to build within Cole. 4 days after the purchase of the engagement ring, Cole folded and asked Camryn to marry him in the living room on a Saturday morning. Much to his luck, she said yes. In November of 2023, Cole and Camryn purchased their home in Hastings. They are now eagerly awaiting their wedding day.
