Welllll we technically met on a church camp houseboats trip at Lake Shasta. Camryn was a leader who came with a group of PLNU students to serve on the trip, and I was a graduating senior. At the time, there was no romantic storyline brewing — I just knew who she was. In fact… I actually asked out one of the girls on her boat that week. So no, this was not love at first sight.After the trip, I became friends with some of the guy leaders from Point Loma and went down to San Diego to hang out with them. It turned into a full squad hangout in downtown SD— which somehow included hot tubbing at a hotel. Camryn was there too, and that’s when we really started talking. Still nothing serious, just fun conversations and such; after all, I was moving across the country to play volleyball in the fall. So I left for college in South Carolina, and life moved on. But when I transferred to Point Loma University a year later, everything shifted.Our friendship picked back up and we were in a few of the same circles. We were friends for a while until both of us started to realize that there was something more there. The interest that wasn’t there before suddenly was — and it was clear this wasn’t random.We went on our first date October 5th, 2023. A nice dinner and then a fun full-circle moment when we went hot tubbing at the same hotel in downtown San Diego!What began as acquaintances on a house boating trip turned into best friends, which turned into spending the rest of our lives together. We’re so grateful for how God’s timing worked in ways we never could’ve planned. Looking back, it’s obvious He was writing a story better than anything we could have put together ourselves. We are beyond excited to start this new chapter of life together in May, &amp; for what the Lord has in store for our move to the bay area!

Located off Interstate 15 and just 2 mi from Temecula, Comfort Inn &amp; Suites Murrieta Temecula Wine Country is close to area attractions including Temecula Wine Country, Promenade Temecula and Lake Skinner.
