It started with a swipe when we "bumbled" into each other in July 2021. After a month of dating, Corey told Camryn he had a surprise adventure planned which ended up being a day filled with biking, kayaking, card games, dinner (made by Corey), dancing, and ice cream (our favorite)! Spending the day together and not growing tired of each other was a promising sign.

Further into the relationship, Camryn and Corey made a trip down to Luray, Virginia where they explored underground caverns, kayaked the Shenandoah River, and hiked in the mountains. Spending time together outdoors quickly became one of their favorite ways to spend time together. They have travelled to hike and see waterfalls in Jim Thorpe, PA, Taughannock Falls, NY, and other more local trails. They even participated in their first Spartan 5K run together in 2023! Throughout their relationship, Camryn and Corey also became avid fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They watched all the movies and series in chronological order together.

One day while eating at a restaurant, Corey reached over to steal some food off of Camryn's plate. Normally, this would greatly annoy Camryn if anyone took her food without asking; however, when Corey did, it didn't phase her one bit. This seemingly insignificant event lead to some much deeper analyzing and reflection on Camryn's part: this was love.

In October 2022, Corey planned a trip, keeping in mind our shared love of waterfalls and hiking, to Taughannock Falls in New York. Under the pretense of capturing scenic pictures of the fall foliage, Camryn and Corey, along with both boys, made the drive to the beautiful overlook. After waiting for the crowd to thin out, Corey set up his camera to "take pictures," but instead caught a video of Camryn's answer to a question that would set the course for both of their lives: will you marry me?
