Julian and I planned to go to Lake Placid to celebrate my 20th birthday with a meal and enjoy time outdoors. I was already suspicious for a few months and especially at this time but I lost hope that Julian was going to propose to me after he told me we were just going back home after our meal. Well, things took a turn, and we left with our meal in boxes because we realized we almost got a ticket for where we parked! We found somewhere to eat, and decided to "head back home" afterwards because of the cold weather. Julian’s A/C vent started making noises and he apologized that he had to pull over to a boat launch to see what was up. Fun fact: He actually didn't have a specific plan of where to propose to me, and was scoping out areas this day, and he thought the boat launch was perfect! After he parked, he came over to my passenger side, put his head under the glove compartment and totally convinced me something was wrong with some wires. He asked me to grab him his flashlight from the center console and hold it for him. By this time, he was already on his knees and it made for the smoothest proposal. I knew what was happening when Julian got down lower and told me that he loves me. He continued to remind me of how much he loves me and how he wouldn’t have it any way. Then, the big moment came where he asked me to marry him! It was a beautiful moment in which we both shed tears <3
