Our Wedding

We met via the wild wild west otherwise known as "online dating". Thankfully, she put her nerd out on full display and that made it easier for us to find each other and bond over common interests. We had a "get to know you and weed out crazy" date at a coffeeshop where Candice short-circuited Keegan's brain by the end of the date with the depth of her nerdiness (but he got her back, not to worry!)Our first "real date" was in downtown Summerville in December where we had dinner and walked around.&nbsp;He got to see what it was like to be on the other end of "activating tomato mode" when she blushed harder than a teenage girl and couldn't turn it off. We also stopped by the local dessert shop and got a pair of macaroons (that were not shared due to a misunderstanding...he still owes her a Swank Desserts macaroon in her naturally correct opinion). We sealed the deal after Candice took Keegan to his first DragonCon and he survived (and didn't completely want to murder her by the end of a weekend of non stop walking and trying his blessed best to keep track of his "kid in a candy store" girlfriend running off every few minutes). Our relationship survived that stress test with flying colors and we still go every year, though with less running off randomly.

Registry

For our registry, we would like to do something a little differently...in lieu of "gadgets and gizmos aplenty", we would humbly request less tangible gifts. At this point in our lives, we truly aren't really wanting for much in the way of stuff. Instead, if you would like to give a gift, you could either donate towards our "honeyfund" (planning to spend a week at Universal being big kids!), give gift cards, or do something really great and make a donation to the Charleston Animal Society. (That's where Keegan and I found our furbaby Sydney!)
