On the fiery battlefield of the bowls green, two champions met. "I have a son" said he, "and I a daughter" said she. And a cunning plan was hatched.

A scouting mission was soon arranged where a young and beautiful daughter came to view what possible goods were available, and she liked what she saw.

Cut to several years later and a wisened, if tardy, son finally phoned the beautiful daughter and a first date was set up. Things were about to get serious.

A coffee (or two) was followed by drinks of a more alcoholic variety, where aided no doubt by the contents of her glass, the fair maiden was bowled over by our boy's wit and charm. It may have only been a few hours, but the wood had started to roll on its inevitable, glorious course.

A few more of these amazing rendezvous and the future was almost set. Never one to make haste, the son made it official and started the courting process in earnest.

Memories and moments stretching continents and holidays. Wrestling on the coast of South Africa. The feast of Passover in Spain. The highs of Amsterdam, the lows of Poland. Times so superior that all others could only marvel that two being so supremely matched to each other had joined forces and sprung forth upon the world. Before you could catch your breath, the seed of true love had been planted, watered and begun to grow.

Keeping on track with his meteoric pace, the son waited a mere 4 years before springing his most brilliant plan. "I need help buying pants" was all it took, and our heroine, always willing to help (both for the innate goodness that she possesses and to make sure pants were of an acceptable appearance) readily agreed to accompany our man to the City of shops and things.

A mob! A flash mob! She was surrounded, he was down on one knee. Tears flowed, "YES!" she said and a ring was placed upon that wonderous finger.
