Candice and Taylor met on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Candice was very upset having to cancel her annual Halloween party but decided to shrug it off and attend Christopher Newport Universities Homecoming that day. While at homecoming, Candice ran into Stacy Gregg. Stacy convinced Candice to come to Schooners after the tailgate was over and hang out and meet her friend's son, Taylor. Candice agreed to go.

Candice went home and changed into a skeleton onesie, after all it was Halloween weekend. When Candice arrived at Schooners, she saw Stacy and then went outside on the patio where she officially met Taylor. They hung out the remainder of the evening.

Candice and Taylor went on their first date the very next weekend and have been going strong ever since.

They welcomed their baby boy , Nolan Andrews into their lives on October 11, 2022.
