To Pioneer Arena:

1.Head North on Columbia Ave (Left, from Sandman, Right, from Super 8), for 2.4 kms.

2.Pioneer Arena is visible from Columbia Ave, on the right

3.Turn Right onto 9th Ave, to access the back parking lot.

From Pioneer Arena to Red Rock:

1.When you exit the arena parking lot, take a left to get back onto 9th, and a right onto Columbia Ave

2.Stay straight, through King Ave, to merge onto Bridge Street.

Bridge Street is a heavy right (about 45 degrees, so take ‘er easy) that takes you across the Columbia River.

3. Take the first Left, after the bridge onto Broadwater Road (signs for Syringa Park).

4. Stay on Broadwater for est. 17 kms.

Approaching Syringa Provincial Park Campsite, 5. Broadwater Road forks. Straight, leads you into Syringa. Go right, to continue on Broadwater Road, now a gravel forest service road:

6. Red Rock is a small unmarked opening in the forest, on Broadwater Road, overlooking Arrow Lakes. The drive is 10-13 minutes, and parking is on the left.

7. Tulip Falls means you’re about half way there. The parking lot for Tulip Falls is inconspicuous, but has parking on the left and right side of the road after this one very specific bridge. It’s about a 3 minute walk to the falls. They’re very pretty. See them on the way back, the wedding is more important. 😀

8. Forest Service Road Mile Markers, stick out of the road like this:

9. Marker 8, on the left, means you’re almost there!

10. Look for “BAKER WEDDING” signs on the left, and other vehicles. Parking is on the LEFT side of the road.

If you are not comfortable doing a 3-point-turn to park, about 5 minutes past Red Rock, there is a pull off on the left hand side, and a loop to turn around and drive back.

IMPORTANT:

Broadwater forest service road has a significant dropoff that goes directly down into Arrow Lakes.

Most of the road does not have guard rails.

Some bridges are narrow one-way.

Please drive safely, adhere to signage, and stay as far to the right as you can when facing oncoming vehicles

Convoy meets at Pioneer Arena at 12:30pm, and LEAVES at 12:45pm

This ceremony is outdoors. The ground here is not as soft as sand, however we're still outside! If you're keen on stilettos, I suggest capping them so you don't sink:
