How do I RSVP?
At the top of our website, you will find a link that says "RSVP." Click that link and follow the instructions listed to submit your RSVP all the way through. When you search for one name in your party, all names included on your invitation should be displayed. Don't forget to indicate your entrée preference(s).
When do I need to RSVP by?
For planning purposes, the sooner, the better! But, if you are still undecided, the deadline to RSVP is Friday, June 6th. Final guest counts are due at this time to the venue for catering decisions to be made.
What if I can only come to the ceremony?
No problem! If you can only come to the ceremony, please leave a note for the bride and groom during your RSVP and let us know in the comment box. With the way the RSVP is setup, it will require you to select an entrée, so we do not miss that for anyone. As long as you state "ceremony only" in the comment box to the bride and groom, we will make the appropriate adjustments.
Where should I stay?
A few accommodations have been offered at discounted rates and are located on the "Hotels" page of our website. We have recommendations within 1-2 miles from the reception venue and another option that is still close enough but better located for exploring the Tampa Bay area before and after the wedding. Please contact the bride and groom for AirBNB recommendations and other options.
Do I have to stay for all the nights listed at the hotels to get the discounted rate?
No. The discounted rate is reserved for all of the nights listed before, during and after the wedding day, but you can stay for just the wedding night or longer. If you are staying before or after the start and end dates, call the hotel directly to see if you can apply the discount.
What will the weather be like?
While we do not claim to predict the weather, there is a good chance that it will be hot in July in Florida with a chance of a 15 minute rain shower at 3pm (typically anyway). The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors where the air conditioning will be on full blast!
How should I get to the ceremony and reception?
The ceremony and reception location information is on the home page. The church (ceremony location) is a 15-20 minute drive from the hotels, and the reception venue is about 15 minutes from the church. There is plenty of parking available at both locations. At the church, you can park on either side - there are entrances on both sides. Uber is also a great option to get around, especially if you are staying at the hotels and/or are planning to enjoy some drinks at the reception.
Can I bring my kids?
Our wedding event is kid-friendly. If you are local, we would love for you to enjoy a "date night" out, but those who are not local or have trouble finding a sitter, we get it! Let us know if you cannot find your child's name when you RSVP, so we can account for them.
What should I wear? Is there a theme?
The recommended dress attire is semi-formal or formal. The theme is 'rustic America' to compliment the 4th of July Holiday with colors of dark reds, navy, and ivory. Sharing for awareness; you do not have to match the theme! :)
What time should I actually arrive?
Please plan to arrive between 4:20 and 4:30 p.m. We are planning to start the ceremony no later than 4:45 p.m.
Where should I sit during the ceremony?
"Pick a Seat; Not a Side! We're all family, once the knot is tied." Aside from a few seats reserved up front for immediate family, any seat on either side is perfectly fine.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
This is not an unplugged wedding, so you are welcome to take photos. We simply ask that you please be mindful of the photographers trying to capture their shots as well.
What time should I expect to leave?
The wedding reception will conclude with a sparkler grand exit at 11pm. At that point, feel free to head back to your hotels or home, but if there's a group that wants to keep going, downtown NPR is just blocks away.
How do I know where to sit at the reception?
During cocktail hour, you will find a seating chart which will include your table number. Be sure to find that during the cocktail hour from 6-7. Once the doors open to the reception hall, you can find your table number, then your name place card which will be at each designated seat. Your name card will also include an image representing the entrée you pre-ordered during your RSVP.
When will we eat?
Cocktail hour will be from 6-7 and will include appetizers. The reception begins at 7pm with introductions and the bride and groom's first dance, followed by a blessing and dinner service. You can expect dinner to begin no later than 7:30 p.m.
What if I have a dietary requirement?
When you RSVP, you will be able to select your preference of entrée. There will also be an option to add dietary requirements which are not already specified. These selections and requirements will be provided to the caterer ahead of time and your table place card will indicate your preferences. It is also recommended that you let your server and the catering staff know at the event just in case!
Will you be serving alcohol?
The cocktail hour and the reception will include an open beer, wine, and champagne bar for our guests. Cocktails will also be available for individual purchase.
Do you have a wedding hashtag?
We do have a wedding hashtag. Use #charliecharliegolf with your images and social media posts!
Do you have a gift registry?
Our registry is available at the "Registry" tab above. On that page is a link to our Honeyfund which will allow you to designate any monetary gift towards something specific if that is something you would like to do. When it comes to physical items, we really have everything we need, but we did include some "wish list" upgrade items for those who really enjoy shopping.
