For the safety and comfort of all our guests, we respectfully request all guests are fully vaccinated. If an extenuating circumstance has prevented you from being vaccinated, you must test negative for COVID before attending our celebration. We will be closely monitoring the situation as our wedding approaches and will make adjustments as necessary.

July is the warmest time of the year in Michigan. Come prepared for temperatures of 80 during the day and 60s in the evening.

Our bridal party will be dressed in formal attire and tuxedos, but come dressed in whatever makes you feel the most comfortable! (But let's be real, you're dying to whip out that gorgeous dress/suit that's been sitting in your closet since the beginning of COVID...now is the time.)

Our ceremony will be held at the Basilica of St. Mary in Livonia, about 25 minutes from downtown. Our reception will be held at the Whiskey Factory in the Eastern Market neighborhood of Detroit. Both events will be held indoors and ample (free) parking is available at both venues.

Please allow 15 minutes to park at the Basilica of St. Mary and take your seat.

That's okay, Cara doesn't either! Guests will be provided with ceremony programs that describe all of the traditions taking place during our ceremony.

Please join us on the front steps of the church! It's tradition to take a group photo with all our guests. (And then feel free to continue to the Whiskey Factory for drinks and hors d'oeuvres!)

It can be tricky! Drive northeast on Gratiot Avenue. Just after passing Antietam Street, take a slight right onto Maple Street. You'll see the Whiskey Factory's gated parking lot on the right side.

Our wedding is an adults-only event (with the exception of the little ones in our wedding party). We appreciate you making arrangements to celebrate with us!

Please visit the Transportation page of our wedding website for hotel block information. Be sure to book your room at least a month in advance! Our bridal party and families will be staying at the Atheneum Suite Hotel (which has also provided us with discounted valet parking and has a shuttle to take guests around the downtown area).

Join us for welcome drinks at Cøllect Beer Bar the night before wedding day, starting at 7:00pm.

The Whiskey Factory will be serving cocktails and beer from their menu at the Detroit City Distillery. The liquor and beer is all made in the Whiskey Factory itself! Champagne and wine will also be served by our caterer. We will be providing a plated dinner, with your choice of entree. Please select your entree when you submit your RSVP.

Yes! But please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions or preferences when you submit your RSVP so we can plan accordingly with our caterer.
