Jacob & Cara both attended Mead High School and knew of each other. They had no idea that the friendly face they would pass in the hallway on the way to class would one day be their future husband/wife. In the summer of 2020 Taylor invited Cara to a pool party at Jake's house. That afternoon Jake picked Cara up and the two developed feelings for each other over the summer. Leading into the fall, Jacob took Cara on their first date to Fritzler's and Old Chicago. Later that night, he asked her to be his girlfriend. And the rest is history ;)
