For those of you that don't know our story -

Jeremy and Caressa have know each other since they were young. Caressa was born and raised in Amery, WI. Jeremy and his family moved to Amery in 2003, and lived 2 miles from Caressa's family. Their parents/families met through church, and instantly became friends.

Samantha (his older Sister) and Caressa became good friends, while Jeremy and Caressa tolerated each other. The families spent the summers together, and were constantly commenting that Jeremy and Caressa would get married, but in their minds that would never happen.

In 2011, Jeremy's family moved to Taylor, WI. Throughout the years, they stayed in contact visiting for big occasions, but life got busy. Caressa graduated and moved away for college. Jeremy stayed in the area working. They would see each other, but not as much as they used to.

In the spring of 2019, Josh (Jeremy's brother) graduated High School. Of course, Caressa and her family came down to celebrate. At that point, Jeremy and Caressa reconnected and started talking.

On July 29th, 2019 they made it official, and there was no turning back. They lived long distance, Caressa in Minneapolis and Jeremy in Taylor, visiting each other on the weekends. In the fall of 2020, Caressa officially moved down to Taylor. Then in the spring of 2021 Caressa and Jeremy closed on their home together. A little more than year later, Jeremy proposed on Labor day weekend of 2022.
