Tony and Carey first met as youth when Tony lived in Moose Jaw for one year. A couple years later they both attended D-Days at IBC and spent a lot of time together. That was when feelings started to develop (for Carey anyways) however they lost touch after that.

Early 2022 Tony rejoined facebook and 'friended' Carey, she considered reaching out to connect but was too chicken but always liked his posts/photos.

In early January 2023 Tony messaged Carey on instagram and the conversation was easy. It started as just someone to talk to, but it didn’t take long for feelings to develop. A few weeks later Tony asked Carey to be his girlfriend and the long distance (Tony in BC/Carey in SK) relationship began.

In March 2023 Carey flew to BC to visit Tony. This was the first time they had seen each other in person in over 14 years.

In May 2023 Tony visited Carey in Saskatchewan. This trip included Tony meeting her family for the first time and spent equal parts in Moose Jaw and Weyburn

June 2023 Carey visited Tony in BC, met several of his friends and coworkers and went camping (in the rain) for the first time.

August 2023 Carey and Tony met in Winnipeg to visit Tony’s family. She not only met his family, but got to see where he grew up.

In October 2023 Tony moved to SK to be with Carey. She flew out to BC and drove back with him.

By the grace of God, within 2 days of being in Weyburn Tony got a job, and even found a place to live less than 2 weeks later. God is good!
