This is a Mormon favorite, as seen on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives! Check out Swig, a popular and delicious soda shop. Be sure to know what you want before you go, as the lines move quickly—everyone in Utah already knows their order! For my Harry Potter fans come and get a butterbeer flavored soda!!
This is OUR favorite place! We absolutely love this place! Their famous French toast with their fantastic syrup and bacon are a must every time we visit!! But breakfast isn’t the only highlight Magleby’s also offers amazing dinners and sweet treats, our favorite is their chocolate cake. We couldn’t recommend Magleby’s more!
This is Carrie’s favorite sushi spot in Utah! It’s delicious, affordable, and conveniently located near the Draper hotel. The sushi is fresh and tastes incredible.
Matt is a big fan of this cozy, affordable, and tasty ramen spot. It’s the first place we ate when we arrived in Utah, and it was the perfect way to kick off our trip. He can’t wait to go back!
We HIGHLY recommend visiting Park City, especially Main Street! Just an hour north of the venue, this charming town is filled with adorable quaint shops and restaurants. Carrie’s favorite part was the chair lifts, it was such a great way to get a bird’s eye view of the area and a serene way to enjoy nature. Also don’t miss the free modern trolley and the delicious ice cream shops!
Driving through Provo Canyon is absolutely breathtaking a favorite for Carrie and many locals! The scenic route is awe inspiring, and if you don’t have time for a hike, a drive through the canyon is a great alternative. For the best experience, enter “High Country Adventure” into Google Maps, which will guide you onto US189. As you drive, you’ll be treated to stunning views of Provo Canyon and the Provo River. If you’re coming from Provo you could also see this view on the drive to Park City. It’s a drive you won’t want to miss!
Carrie's favorite spot! I absolutely adore this place!! Just 6 minutes from the venue, it’s the perfect spot for a quick coffee or a leisurely break. The cozy atmosphere is enhanced by fun games like Yahtzee and checkers, and you can even leave a Polaroid of yourself on their wall! They also have a board where you can share funny moments, I wrote a silly story about myself! Plus, if you find one of their 7 hidden mini ducks, you get a free drink. I struggled so much to find one that they gave me a free water bottle haha, good luck!
Oteo is a fantastic and affordable Mexican restaurant, just 4 minutes from the venue. It's definitely worth checking out! The bride definitely recommends their beef tacos—she had them with her florist, and they were some of the best she's ever tasted!
