.....it all started with a broken phone.

Carin and Jamie met at our friend's wedding in Greenville, SC when Jamie ripped his pants on the dance floor. Jamie had to head back to Salt Lake City, UT and Carin to Columbia, SC, and they sadly parted ways. The distance didn't seem to deter them though, since they decided to continue texting, which led to calling, then facetimes, then a plane ticket to Salt Lake City. Her first visit was on Cinco de Mayo of 2019, and after a lot of flights to UT, SC, TX, NC, and GA, she moved there exactly a year later on May 5, 2020!

They got engaged on top of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming in April 2024. Jamie surprised Carin with a celebration with their Utah, Wyoming, and South Carolina friends at one of the best apres spots, Mangy Moose!
