The ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting, and the reception will be indoors. We will also have outdoor yard games and a bonfire if weather allows.

Yes. We have a block of rooms reserved at Bluefin Bay under our names and you can also reference this number when calling to reserve: 578051. The block of rooms will be released to the public 60 days prior to the wedding, which is Monday, April 22, 2024. Please feel free to shop around for the best deal! There are plenty of hotels/resorts in the area, as well as Airbnb, and several of them are listed on our website.

Unfortunately there will not be a shuttle available so please plan accordingly. Our reception and ceremony sites are 1 mile apart. There is a walkway between the ceremony site to the reception that is mostly along the lake shore and partly alongside the road. There is also parking for anyone that choses to drive back and forth.

Yes, the dress code is semi formal or cocktail attire.

The weather in Tofte in June is on average a high of 50-60 degrees during the day, and around 40 degrees at night. Please bring warm layers. The weather here is much colder than it is in the cities this time of the year.

As much as we love your little ones, due to limited venue space, this is an adults only event. We hope this advanced notice means that you are still able to share our big day and enjoy a weekend getaway with us!

The invitations have already been sent out with plus ones in mind, so please only bring a plus one if specified on your invitation and RSVP. Please contact Derek or Carina with further questions.

We will be serving hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrée, dessert, and late night pizza.

There will not be an open bar, but we will have a limited amount of beer and wine hosted. Everything else will be available for purchase through the bar.

Your presence is the only gift we need! We appreciate you spending your time and money to be with us this weekend. If you would like to contribute with a gift regardless, we have set up a registry, which you will find on this website. Thank you!

We would really appreciate it if everyone would refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so that our photographers can do their jobs properly. Please feel free to take as many photos as you would like after the ceremony ends. Thank you!
