Carissa and Dru first crossed paths at just 14 years old. Though they attended different schools, fate brought them together through mutual friends. What started as conversations in Instagram DMs as teenagers quickly became one of Carissa's favorite memories. She couldn't stop telling everyone about her crush on Dru. Little did they know, that sweet beginning would one day lead them to forever. 💍

After their teenage encounters, Carissa and Dru went their separate ways for seven years, staying connected only as mutuals on social media. Then one day, out of the blue, Dru messaged Carissa to say he was thinking about transferring to her college campus. A little small talk turned into a new chapter and before long, Dru moved into the room directly above hers at school. As if that wasn't enough, they ran into each other again in a business class, and soon they were spending more and more time together. It didn’t take long for them to realize just how much they had in common and how much love they already shared for one another. Turns out, seven years was just an intermission.

7 Years Later

Dru and Carissa made it official on 05.30.22 — a day that marked the beginning of their greatest adventure together. Since then, they’ve shared countless memories side by side: traveling, building a business, and growing through every season of life. Above all, they take pride in keeping Jesus at the center of their relationship and everything they do, trusting Him to guide their journey together. ✨

On a surprise trip to sunny Florida, Dru gave Carissa the most unforgettable moment of her life. While taking in the stunning views from a rooftop balcony in Miami, Dru got down on one knee and asked Carissa to be his forever. Their families watched the entire proposal on FaceTime, sharing in the joy and happy tears from miles away. It was a perfect, joy-filled “yes” to a lifetime together. 💍✨

Brooke is Carissa’s cousin and lifelong friend. From childhood sleepovers to years of competing side by side in sports, they’ve shared countless memories along the way. Brooke has always been Carissa’s built-in best friend, and now, her right-hand girl on the biggest day of her life! Having Brooke by her side on such an important day feels only natural.

David, aka DJ is Dru's older brother and first best friend. Growing up side by side, they've shared everything from childhood adventures to shaping the men they are today. Through every season of life, DJ has been a constant source of loyalty, support, and brotherhood. Having him stand as Best Man is not only an honor, but a reflection of a bond that runs deeper than words.

Michaela and Carissa have been best friends for 20 years. From growing up together to navigating adulthood, Michaela has been a constant through every season of life! The two share so many memories together from childhood and collegiate sports, gymnastics, camping, coffee dates, Bible studies, and so much more. There’s no one Carissa trusts more to stand by her side on such an important day as Matron of Honor!

Bryce has been one of Dru's closest friends since college, where the two first met and quickly bonded over basketball. Countless hours on the court turned into a lasting friendship built on trust, loyalty, and shared experiences. Bryce has been an important part of Dru's life ever since, making it an easy choice to have him stand as Best Man.

Lindsey is Carissa’s younger sister and one of her fiercest protectors. Only two years apart, their bond has always been rooted in loyalty, love, and a little bit of sisterly toughness. Lindsey is the one who will stand up for the people she cares about without hesitation — a quality that makes her presence beside Carissa on this special day even more meaningful. 🤍

Elijah is one of Dru's closest friends, whom he met through business a few years ago. From the beginning, they formed an instant bond rooted in shared faith, values, and a passion for entrepreneurship. Talking every day and growing side by side, Elijah is someone Dru deeply respects and knows will be a lifelong presence. It is an honor to have him stand as a groomsman on Dru's special day.

While he and Elijah are twin brothers, Dru has built a distinct, unique, and meaningful bond with Elisha rooted in shared faith, values, and vision. Their conversations, perspectives, and encouragement have shaped a friendship Dru deeply values. Having Elisha stand as a groomsman on this day is truly special.

Believe it or not, Lindsey is Carissa’s other older sister. Yes, you read that right. Two sisters, both named Lindsey. While the name may cause some confusion, Lindsey’s generosity and kindness never do. She is one of the most selfless people Carissa knows and is always the first to show up, help out, or make someone laugh. Carissa couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Not every groomsman has a 10-year bromance scrapbook and that’s okay. Believe it or not, we couldn’t find a single photo of just these two, so this is their official debut. Marty and Dru met through Carissa and her best friend Michaela. Marty has been around for almost a decade in Carissa's life and now he gets to share a lifetime of holidays, group trips, and memories ahead with Dru. Being married to best friends means they’re stuck with each other forever… and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Alayna has been a best friend of Carissa’s for nearly two decades. From growing up together through sports and sleepovers to sharing life’s milestones today, their bond has stood the test of time. Known for her humor and big heart, Alayna is always the first to bring a smile and keep things fun. Alayna’s humor and support make her someone Carissa couldn’t imagine standing without on this day.

Jerry is Carissa's sister's boyfriend and someone Dru quickly formed a bond with. Their relationship is filled with humor and jokes, but also grounded in mutual respect and genuine conversations when it matters most. Jerry brings a lighthearted energy to every room, and having him as part of the wedding party only feels right. Dru is honored to have Jerry stand by his side on his big day.

Laura entered Carissa’s life through their business, but their friendship quickly grew into something far more meaningful. In a short time, Laura became someone Carissa knows will be part of her life for years to come. Laura’s generous heart, uplifting spirit, and faith-filled life are qualities Carissa truly admires and cherishes.

Dru and Blake have been good friends for a few years now. The first time they met in person, Dru drove four hours through a blizzard and that pretty much sums up how this friendship started. Since then, they’ve stayed close, talking often and always keeping up with each other. Blake has been a solid friend who brings all the jokes to the room. Dru is thankful to have him standing by his side.
