Wedding Party

Brianne
Brianne - Matron of Honor
Brianne is Carissa's older sister. They've only gotten closer with time. Brianne always has Carissa's back, pushes her to do better, and supports her in her endeavors.
Cora
Cora - Bridesmaid
Cora has been one of Carissa's best friends since Freshman year of High School. They met in marching band but grew closer throughout high school due to their shared classes.
Emily
Emily - Bridesmaid
Emily is one of Carissa's best friends who she met through Phil and her husband Clay. Emily is a loving presence in Carissa's life and her sass keeps a smile on Carissa's face.
Elizabeth "Liz" Wetzel (Bowman)
Elizabeth "Liz" Wetzel (Bowman) - Best "Man"
Just a year and a half younger than me, Liz has been there through it all — the good, the bad, and the “what were you thinking?” moments. She’s my sounding board, reality check, and best friend, always ready to listen, give advice, or set me straight when needed. She even let me crash with her and Tyler when life called for a reset. Fun fact: when I was little and learned you marry someone you love, I told Mom I’d marry Liz. Clearly, I didn’t quite understand how marriage works… but I wasn’t wrong about loving her. Having her beside me on this day means more than words can say.
Tyler Wetzel
Tyler Wetzel - Groomsman & Officiant
I met Tyler through Liz, but our friendship really took off in 2020 playing Warzone with the boys. Those late-night sessions helped me through some tough times. Tyler is one of the most caring, dependable, and considerate people you’ll ever meet. We share dumb humor, a love for all kinds of music (he got me into the really heavy stuff), endless games, and of course, our love for Liz. Having him stand with me — and officiate this day — means the world.
Clayton "Clay" Koposky
Clayton "Clay" Koposky - Groomsman
I first met Clay through the boys playing Warzone, where he was easily the most outspoken voice on comms. After I moved back to Peoria, our friendship really took off — especially when we started hitting the gym together to prep him for the police physical — and, without realizing it, help me get back to a good headspace post-Covid. Clay’s got a big personality and an even bigger heart, and he’s been a huge help since I moved back. I’m grateful to have him here to celebrate and stand by my side.
Jakeb "Jake" Bowman
Jakeb "Jake" Bowman - Groomsman
As the third sibling — and the only brother for much of my youth — Jake spent years sharing a room with me, which meant he had to put up with more than his fair share of my antics. We traded turns on Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield 3, ATV Offroad Fury 3, and pretty much any game we could get our hands on. Blunt, logical, and hilarious, Jake is one of the coolest people you’ll ever meet — and if there’s anyone I wish I was more like, it’s him. I’m proud to have him standing with me on this day.
