The story of Carissa and Marcus starts on the evening of August 11th, 2017. Carissa and Marcus had a mutual friend, Sean, who introduced Marcus to Carissa’s friend group. The group went out that evening and had a lovely night. Marcus introduced himself as an aspiring doctor heading off to Ohio State. Carissa would every now and then dm Marcus to meet up with them on the occasional night that they went out (….Marcus never responded as he was ahemmm… a respectable young man). It wasn’t until Carissa joined Bumble that Marcus hit her up regarding her relationship status. Marcus finally met up with Carissa at a pub, where he also met her mom. Covid hit, Carissa and Marcus spent every day quarantined in the house together, watching “How I Met Your Mother” and doing face masks. The two finally moved in together after a year of dating… and the rest is history. 🤍
