Carl & Ivana met in Madison, WI in the summer of 2021 - this is the first picture of them. They are celebrating after Carl ran the Rockin Brews Marathon on a Badger Game Day! S/O Madison Hofmeister for the matchmaking!

Soon after, Ivana moved to Montreal for an internship & Carl came to visit her!

After Ivana returned to Madison, the couple made it official and fell in love!

Ivana went to Carl's hometown of Prairie du Chien for the first time for St. Patrick's Day and March Madness celebrations. She clicked immediately with Carl's sisters and brothers and parents - and she did NOT get Prairie Monstered :)

For Carl's 29th birthday, the couple traveled to Austin, TX and spent time with dear friends!

Ivana graduated from her Master's program at UW-Madison & Carl was so proud of her!

Carl & Ivana's favorite place is Door County! They're so excited to get married in a place so special to them.

Carl & Ivana love to visit the family farm in Prairie du Chien - these apples are a special Hanson variety grown right on the property!

Ivana's favorite holiday is Halloween and Carl & Finn joined her for this adorable family costume!

The couple moved from Madison to Milwaukee in March of 2023 for Ivana's dream job of working at Milwaukee Ballet!

As avid sports fans, Milwaukee has been an incredible place for them to live! Go Brewers, Go Bucks, Go Pack GO!

The summer of 2023 the couple got to travel to Oregon for a dear friend's wedding. The trip was filled with amazing experiences and even better company :)

Ivana's 26th birthday fell on Barbenheimer weekend - the couple loves living close to and frequenting the iconic Oriental Theater in MKE.

Carl & Ivana love their nieces to the moon and back! They hope their wedding will be as much fun as sister Kristen & Jim Emery's was!

As apartment life doesn't offer all that much for storage, Carl & Ivana have loved getting a real Christmas tree the last couple years.

Carl & Ivana love to downhill ski. They took a trip with dear friends to Vermont for a magical NYE ski trip!

When looking to book their wedding venue in Door County, they had to bring Finny to see where mom & dad got engaged! He can't wait for them to get married.
