Sqwires is a restaurant located in the historic Lafayette neighborhood of St. Louis. It was built in the 19th century and its original purpose was as a wire factory. It happens to be very close to our rock climbing gym, and we have frequented it many times after a grueling session!

Bellefontaine is a stunning 19th century cemetery in St. Louis that spans over 300 acres. Additionally, it is a level III accredited arboretum (of which there are fewer than 50 worldwide) and home to over 500 species of flora. In spring 2022, we ran their annual 5K and were struck by its peaceful beauty.

Wild Carrot sits in the Shaw neighborhood of St. Louis. It opened in 1915 as a movie theater before becoming a corner store that closed in 2015. It later reopened as the event venue it is today. We loved the idea of incorporating another piece of St. Louis history into our day!
