Also, the one and only Father Michael Nasser, past Antiochian Village camp director will be assisting in serving in the service. We expect the current camp director as well Father Chris Shadid to be in attendance as our koumbaro!!! (Our sponsor who will sign our wedding certificate with the church!) Father Dean Kokanos will serve, he has an operatically trained voice! And our beloved Father Yohanna too! Andrew’s seminary friend, Ted Cherpas will serve as the isokratima (provides foundational harmony for the chanting). Father Antony Hughes from Cambridge, Massachusetts will also be with us as well as Father Ted Pulcini, best friend of late Father Elias Meena, Andrew’s father, who is educated in theological studies at Harvard University. 🙏

Andrew, John Boyer, Father Chris Shadid, Father Dean Kokanos, and Ted Cherpas were all seminary classmates together at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in Boston! Fun fact: one summer, Father Dean had prior obligations though the four others were able to travel to Greece together! 😊
