Carla and Kennedy's love story began when they were just kids at the Van Buren Youth Fair. Carla, a curious 10-year-old, was there with her pig-showing brothers and her friend Toni. As they walked by the pig pens, a particular one caught Carla's eye. She found herself wondering who this 'she' was, only to realize it was a 'he'! It was Kennedy's, an 11-year-old boy with a charming smile.

Years passed, but that fairground memory lingered. In 2017, fate brought them together again, through social media. They decided to meet for a date at Monelli's, and the rest, as they say, is history!
