Carla- It's funny when we talk about this because we've known each other most of our lives. Never talked to each other, though we attended the same church since we were born. When I would complain about not having a significant other, people would ask, "Carla, what about David?". My response would be "Be serious!". Needless to say, all it really took was a venti caramel macchiato and a direct message. That's right- David slid into the DM's. His simple, "Ha you got your Starbucks Sunday morning???" changed my world as I knew it. In reality it took me a few hours to respond because I knew well, in that moment the phone pinged, that if I, Carla Maria Ramirez, chose to respond with anything other than a cold one-word "Yes", we would end up getting married. As always, I was right. I am excited to experience the rest of my life with David. Though I know that no relationship is perfect, I think ours come pretty damn close.
