Jake and Carley met at a gym in Saginaw, MI, while attending SVSU. They would awkwardly walk by each other at first. Now and then, one of them would strike up a conversation, but nothing ever came of it.

In 2019, Jake and Carley participated in a CrossFit competition with different partners, of course! Jake noticed that Carley was really cool, really cute, and funny.

Carley also thought Jake was really cool and really cute!

COVID hit and they stopped seeing each at the gym. :(

After COVID settled, Jake and Carley found themselves back at the same gym. Carley was working at a car dealership at the time. Jake conveniently got into a car accident and just had to text Carley.

Five short months later, Jacob asked Carley to be his girlfriend!

Soon after, Clover was welcomed into our family.

We bought our first home together in Sanford!

FINALLY!! Jacob proposed to Carley on the top of Day Mountain in Acadia National Park during a vacation in Maine.
